So grateful for the majestic experience of giving birth at home supported by our incredible midwives Shannon and Tara. Having them made all the difference in our feeling empowered, safe, courageous, prepared, and open for a unique journey through pregnancy and labor. Beyond their medical knowledge, our midwives hold such vast experience and deep wisdom about women's and baby's health throughout pregnancy, labor & delivery, and postnatal. My husband and I could not be more grateful for the care and coaching that we received through many pivotal moments and for getting to have the beautiful experience of having a home birth.
By the time I began laboring, Shannon and Tara were solid and supportive friends in an uncharted world for myself and husband (who took over communications when I couldn't). We were able to bring our child into the world with our own personal flare, at home. *back up plan was clearly understood of the possibility to go to the hospital in case medical intervention was needed. We HIGHLY recommend this truly excellent team!
Shannon is truly a master of midwifery. An answer for any question and a recommendation for any hiccup. Someone who not only knows the ins and outs of the practice but has a true passion for bringing life into the world. My only regret is not having Shannon deliver all of my babies. Forever grateful for their team and for bringing our baby boy earth side smoothly.
